''Al-Bilad'' () is a Saudi Arabian daily newspaper located in Jeddah.〔(Oil Prices to Rise 5 pct., Saudi newspaper says ), ''The Deseret News'', 11 December 1978, Retrieved 14 February 2012〕 ==History== It is one of the oldest newspapers in Saudi Arabia, having been established in April 1932. In 1960, after Israel captured German Nazi and SS-Obersturmbannführer Adolf Eichmann, the newspaper ran a headline entitled: "Capture of Eichmann, who had the honor of killing five million Jews". In 1978, the newspaper reported a story that was subsequently picked up by ''The Los Angeles Times'' and other foreign press, concerning a father who mistakenly gave away his two veiled daughters in a double wedding to the wrong bridegrooms, but whose daughters indicated they were satisfied with their accidental spouses.〔("Moslem Brides Mismatched" ), ''Lakeland Ledger'', 29 December 1978, Retrieved 14 February 2012〕〔("People ... Things" ), ''The Windsor Star'', 29 December 1978, Retrieved 14 February 2012〕 Hamza Kashgari worked for the newspaper as a columnist.〔 〕 On 7 February 2012, ''Al-Bilad'' issued a statement saying that they had fired Kashgari five weeks earlier "because of the inadequacy of his general views for the approach of the newspaper." 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Al-Bilad (Saudi newspaper)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
